A fantastic month on the service (+53% ROI) despite being denied by a nose with Saturday’s each way runner (Laneqash) at Haydock.

Highlights this May are plentiful, but perhaps the best were Shining Blue (5/1 into odds-on), My Prospero (5/2), Lionel (15/2), Valley Forge (9/2) and Eldar Eldarov (9/4)

There have been several eye-catchers over the past week or two that need to be kept on side and with the last trio of notebooked horses yielding some positive results, the below three are all worth keeping on side for future engagements over the coming weeks.

ANNNIE MAHER (Michael Bell): This Gredley owned filly by Zoustar had been working like a high-class filly prior to her debut at Ascot earlier in the month. She continues to do so and with the benefit of experience the yard feel she’ll be tough to oppose wherever she goes next.

COLD CASE (Karl Burke): A combination of inexperience and the small field seemed to catch this colt out on debut at Carlisle. His work has been exceptional and it is felt he’s one of the best juveniles at the yard. One to be on next time out and a pattern class horse in the making.

SELF PRAISE (Hugo Palmer): A non-runner on Saturday with Chester being abandoned, this colt will relish a step up in trip next time out and has now very much come to hand having been in need of the experience the last twice.
