Ice Cool Harry (Clive Cox) – This horse was extremely uncomfortable on the turf course at Lingfield and never once did he let himself down on the track. Having beaten a subsequent winner on his start prior to that connections still feel he’s on a very fair mark and back on a more conventional track next time he’ll take some beating.

Alhambra Palace (William Haggas) – A small field and having to pick up from off a slow pace was this horse’s undoing when last seen at Epsom. He remains unexposed over the 1m4f trip and is more than capable of picking up a similar 0-70 in the near future.

Star Legend (James Owen) – This ex-Haggas trained four-year old is well regarded by James Owen and connections feel he’s more than capable of picking up a small novice hurdle. He traded as short as 2.2 on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter earlier in the month but was unable to sustain his challenge having been keen enough throughout. He’ll be extremely competitive next time out in a bigger field where there’s more emphasis on speed.
