A fantastic week or so on the service thanks to our French contact coming up trumps with Percy Shelley over at Longchamp, a 6/1 double landing as well as Royal Ascot bound Brave Nation who bolted up yesterday at Doncaster on debut having been backed off the boards into 2/1!

With a maximum selection planned for next week now’s the time to get involved if you’re yet to do so – the Guineas is fast approaching and the flat is now very much in full swing. I have three that are notebook worthy from this month – put them in your trackers:

ZENGA (Roger Varian): This filly by Lope de Vega was a tad disappointing on debut when very much expected to take the beating. She ended up needing the first run more than anticipated and based on her homework she’s felt to be well above average and is very much a filly to keep on side this season.

PEARL BEACH (William Knight): This mare has build up an impeccable record on the AW and was given a howler by Daniel Muscutt earlier in the week when collared late on at Wolverhampton. Depending on how much she’s raised by the handicapper she’ll have no issues in getting her head back in front next time out granted a better ride. Her work suggests she still has some room for manoeuvre off her current mark.

SALVATOR MUNDI (John Gosden): A well-bred colt by Galileo, he was given a poor ride on Saturday by Frankie Dettori and was never nearer at the finish on what was his handicap debut. With his mark unlikely to be raised for that close-up 3rd, he looks nailed-on to take a similar type of event, quite possibly over a stiffer test.
